Oil core separation failure of screw air compressor The oil core separation plays the role of separating the compressed air and oil in the device. If the oil core separation is unsuccessful, the following two scenarios will occur:

The screw air compressor blocks the oil core, increases the operating resistance of the compressor, increases energy consumption, and causes the unit to reach high temperatures. After the air compressor is clogged, it can be cleaned, but in severe cases, the oil core must be replaced.

The screw air compressor oil filter is clogged. The function of the oil filter is to filter metal particles, impurities, etc. in the compressor oil to clean the oil entering the main engine, thereby protecting the operation of the main engine. If the exhaust temperature is too high after blockage, the service life of the oil and oil core will be shortened. If the original function of the oil core is not restored after cleaning, it should be replaced in time.

The function of the pressure valve blocking the small pressure valve is to ensure the normal lubrication of the unit components when the compressor is started; to maintain the oil pressure at a small pressure value to achieve the best separation effect of oil and gas, thereby reducing the oil content in the exhaust gas; to prevent the compressed air from Backflow when the car or machine is stopped. If the valve is clogged, unable to open or open, the pressure inside the oil barrel will increase, energy consumption will be high, and the exhaust temperature will also increase. It can be repaired or replaced if it becomes clogged.

The oil cut-off valve is blocked. The oil cut-off valve of the screw air compressor plays a role in connecting the oil circuit system and smoothing the oil circuit circulation during the operation of the unit. When the oil cut-off valve cannot be opened or does not open, it will cause the lubricating oil to not be able to be opened. Enter the nose smoothly. This will cause the unit to generate high temperatures due to insufficient oil return, causing the exhaust temperature to rise.
