The air compressor oil seal falls off or the oil seal is defective (such as wear, etc.), causing oil leakage. The main shaft of the air compressor is loose, causing the oil seal to leak. The joint surface of the air compressor head is leaking, and the joints of the oil inlet pipe and oil return pipe are loose. Fourth, during the installation of the air compressor, the belt is installed too tightly, causing the main bearing bush to wear. Fifth, the casting or processing of the air compressor is not perfect during the production process.
1.Check the oil seal of the air compressor to confirm whether there are cracks in the oil seal and whether the inner lip is cracked or flanged. If any of the above conditions occur, it should be replaced; check whether there are scratches and defects on the joint surface of the oil seal and the main shaft. If there are scratches and defects, replace them. Secondly, check whether the oil return is smooth. Poor oil return will cause the crankcase pressure to be too high, causing the oil seal to leak or fall off. Ensure that the oil return pipe has a minimum diameter, is not twisted or bent, and that the oil return is smooth. Check the matching dimensions of the oil seal and box body, and replace any that do not meet the standards.
2.Move the spindle forcefully to check whether the neck clearance is too large. If the clearance is too large, the bearing bush and oil seal should be replaced at the same time. As for how large is too large, each brand is different. Fidelity's clearance is generally about 1 cm.
3.Check the sealing condition of the gaskets at each joint of the air compressor, repair or replace the gaskets; check whether the bolts of the oil inlet and return joints and the box threads are loose, and make sure they are not loose. The working environment of some air compressors may be harsh, and there may be oil all over the body. This requires our air compressor maintenance technicians to work hard and clean the entire air compressor first. Fourth, check and re-adjust the tightness of the entire belt of the air compressor head. It is appropriate to press 10 mm with your thumb. If it is too large or too small, adjust it. Ignore this point. Fifth, check for defects in the casting or processing of the air compressor case (such as whether the oil return hole at the installation location of the case is unobstructed), repair or replace defective parts, and make sure it has not been severely impacted.
