At rated pressure, the amount of air discharged by an oil-free air compressor cannot meet the flow rate, so the discharge pressure must be reduced. The main cause of abnormal interstage pressure is air valve leakage or air leakage after piston ring wear. Find out the cause and take measures.

Fault phenomenon: When the engine is running and the air compressor inflates the air tank, the barometer indicates that the air pressure cannot reach the starting pressure value.

Cause of the problem:

1. The barometer is malfunctioning.

2. The transmission belt between the air compressor and the engine is too loose and slippery, or the pipeline between the air compressor and the gas tank is broken or the gasket is leaking.

3. The oil-water separator, pipeline or air filter is blocked by excessive sediment.

4. The air compressor exhaust valve blades are not sealed, the spring is too soft or broken, the air compressor cylinder head bolts are loose, the grinding holes and the cylinder head gasket are damaged and leak.

5. The cylinder liner, piston and piston ring of the air compressor are worn or even leaked.

Troubleshooting methods and troubleshooting:

1. Observe the pressure gauge. If insufficient pressure is indicated, allow the engine to run at moderate speed for a few minutes. The pressure still doesn't rise or rises slowly. A very loud deflation sound when the brake pedal is depressed indicates that the air pressure gauge is damaged. Repair barometer.

2. If there is no deflation sound in the above test, or the deflation sound is very small, please check whether the air compressor belt is too loose, from the air compressor to the air storage tank to the pipe control valve air inlet valve, and whether the gasket is loose, Cracked or leaking. on site.

3. If the oil-free air compressor does not inflate the air tank, check the oil-water separator, air filter and pipelines for excessive dirt and blockage. If clogged, remove dust.

Also note:

1. Air leakage - This is the possible cause of this failure. You can start an oil-free air compressor and stop it when the air tank has a certain pressure (slightly above atmospheric pressure). Then use your ears to listen for air leaks in external pipes, air supply pipes, one-way valves, safety valves, pressure switches, etc. If there is an air leak, the leak needs to be repaired.

2. Air demand exceeds the high air supply: Your air demand exceeds the high air supply of the oil-free air compressor, and the machine is overloaded. At this point, even if you continue to produce natural gas, it will not be able to meet your demand. You may think you are not producing enough gas. We've seen this happen many times, so double-check whether your gas consumption is increasing recently.

3. If the air source is still insufficient after the above two inspection steps, the oil-free air compressor head bowl may be worn and needs to be replaced. Generally, the shelf life of leather bowls is 3 years
