When the air compressor head is stuck, first disengage the motor and confirm by rotating the head alone (normal machine heads can be rotated by hand).The screw host may be stuck due to the following reasons: Insufficient lubricating oil. Insufficient lubricating oil may be caused by the following reasons:

1.If it is shut down for a long time (including transportation), there will be insufficient oil inside the machine head, resulting in an instant lack of oil and leading to jamming. Therefore, equipment that has been shut down for a long time must first add enough oil to the machine head before starting it up;

2.Insufficient oil supply, including lubricating oil not being replaced or added in time, or the oil circuit being clogged or leaking, causing the machine head to be stuck due to lack of oil; secondly, causing the rotor to explode due to direct contact, including:

The bearing is aging and severely worn. To specifically check the degree of bearing wear, you can move the needle roller or ball on the lower side of the bearing when the bearing is not removed. If it can be moved easily, it means it needs to be replaced; as the air compressor runs over time, The bearings of the main engine will inevitably wear, which will cause the axial movement and radial movement of the screw to increase. This change will change the gaps between the screws, the screw and the main engine casing, and the front and rear end faces. This gap change is normal and allowable within the bearing life span, and the resulting attenuation of air compressor gas production and increase in transmission motor load are also normal and allowable. However, when the bearings are worn and the matching clearance of the main engine exceeds the allowable amount, serious consequences may occur.

In particular, foreign objects fell in and got stuck. The air filter paper and a piece of iron filings 1 mm thick got in and got stuck. Friction will occur between the internal screw and the front and rear end surfaces, and between the screw and the host housing. The motor load will increase sharply. The serious consequence is that the screw is locked or even the host is scrapped. If the motor protection response is insensitive or fails, the motor may burn out. Secondly, a large decrease in air compressor gas production may affect the normal production of gas consuming units. There are too many impurities, including impurities in the oil, carbon deposits, and coking. Therefore, it is critical to choose lubricating oil and replace the lubricating oil; such accidents are more likely to occur when using inferior lubricating oil or using it for an extended period.
